Do you enjoy camping? We certainly do. There’s a unique sense of adventure. Camping is great to experience every now and then. Personally, I take opportunity when it comes to cooking outdoors. While camping, I am cooking most of the time. One of the simplest yet satisfying meals to prepare is a burger. Our all-time favorite is the double cheese beef burger. Who doesn’t like burger, right?
This recipe is perfect for well-done meat. However, if you prefer your meat cooked to a medium level, there’s no need to marinate (according to the recipe).

- Prepare the Patties: Mixed meat, shallots and garlic. Seasoning it. Gently shape the ground beef into 2 equal-sized patties, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.
- Cook the Patties:
– Preheat your grill or pan over medium-high heat.
– Place the patties on the grill or pan. For well done burgers. - Toast the Buns:
While the patties are cooking, you can lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster. This adds a nice texture to your burger. - Assemble the Burgers:
Place the cooked patties on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
Layer with your preferred toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and onion slices. - Add Condiments:
Spread ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or your favorite condiments on the top half of the bun. - Put It All Together:
Place the top bun with condiments on top of the assembled toppings.
